a chef, an interior designer, a food stylist, a progressive thinker, a creative; these are just a few of the things that have made up who i was, who i am, and who i aspire to become.
straight out of high school and a recent transplant to the city, i started this unique career path i'm on with a 4 year bachelor degree in interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. after another 4 years of post grad work in hospitality interior design, i ventured back into the world of academics to pursue a passion for food.
self taught in the kitchen and consistently surrounded by restaurant design for both up-and-coming and established chefs, i felt that the next step in enhancing my skill set would be to attend culinary school. after graduating from an accelerated program at the Institute of Culinary Education, i spent a year studying and refining my skills at the 3-michelin star restaurant, Jean-Georges.
with a desire to develop my own recipes and flare for cooking, i would then move my culinary career into the world of personal chefing. when the opportunity to freelance for all of my passions arouse, so did the idea that my unique skill set and connections across a broad spectrum of the hospitality world, could become a distinct design studio encompassing all aspects necessary for making your vision a reality!
